The Dignified Girl Project, a local civic organization, recently
partnered with Hologic, a U.S.-based medical technology company, to
improve the quality of life for girls in Nassau. The companies donated
75 care packages consisting of feminine hygiene products, dental hygiene
products, underwear and deodorant. Hologic also made an $800 donation
towards future care packages.
The Dignified Girl Project started
in 2017 to give girls between six years old and seventeen years old a
sense of dignity and empowerment by providing feminine care packages…
