Making good on his promise to ensure Grand Bahama returns to its glory
days of employment, Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Hubert Minnis revealed
that his Government made a deposit of $10 million for the purchase of
the Grand Lucayan resort.

The Prime Minister made the
announcement during a press briefing following a tour of the sprawling
property on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. He was accompanied by members of
his Cabinet and other government officials.
