Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Hubert Minnis paid respects to the late
Former Senator Mrs. Telator Cumi Strachan, OBE, as she lay in state in
the Foyer of the Senate, August 16, 2018.  He also signed the Book of
Condolence to the family, as President of the Senate the Hon. Katherine
Forbes-Smith and Speaker of the House of Assembly the Hon. Halson
Moultrie, pictured, looked on.  Mrs. Strachan was a prominent straw
craft businesswoman who made valuable contributions to nation building. 
Her State-Recognized Funeral is scheduled for Friday morning, August
17, at Faith United Baptist Church…
