The Over-the-Hill Community Development Partnership in collaboration
with the Department of Environmental Health Services and Bahamas Public
Parks and Public Beaches Authority carried out a series of clean-up
initiatives — community cleanup and bulk waste removal (broken
refrigerators, furniture, old electronics etc.) — on Friday, August 17,
through Sunday, August 19, 2018 in the Bain and Grants Town area
between Nassau Street and Collins Avenue.  Called ‘Flash Cleanup’ —
photos capture the Saturday morning initiative as it reached Lewis
Street.
