On Sunday night, past, March 15th, the MOE issued a Press Statement in
light of the recently confirmed case of the corona virus in The Bahamas,
announcing the immediate closure of all schools and educational
institutions, both public and private, until Tuesday, April 14th, 2020.
In
that statement, the Ministry advised that Teachers and students were
not to report to School. However, all administrators, support staff, and
security personnel were asked to report for duty beginning Monday,
March 16th, 2020,
