In the midst of a national emergency sparked by the COVID-19 pandemic,
University of The Bahamas (UB) forged ahead with its research
presentations, five days after transitioning to remote operations and
announcing that previously scheduled events had been postponed or
cancelled.
On Friday 20th March, University researchers, who
would have traditionally presented before a face-to-face crowd, were
instead connected to those listening via an online conferencing
