The new Permanent Representative of Brazil to the Organization of
American States (OAS), Fernando Simas Magalhães, officially presented
today the credentials that accredit him as Ambassador to the hemispheric
institution.
During the ceremony at OAS headquarters in
Washington, D.C., Ambassador Simas said he would follow the same path
that his country has followed historically at the Organization. “Brazil
is a country that has had an ongoing commitment to the values,
principles and objectives of the OAS that are reflected in its
constitutive documents, and I mean to move ahead with this policy,� said
