“Climate Change impacts public health” was the central message Minister
of Health, Dr. the Hon. Duane Sands conveyed at a Climate Change Exhibit
at Mall at Marathon, August 20, 2018. The exhibit, conducted by the
Pan American Health Organization (PAHO)/World Health Organization (WHO)
— sought to increase awareness of climate change and its consequences
to small island communities like The Bahamas which are impacted through
social, infrastructural, environmental, ecological, and public health
